Throughout the month of July 2009, I will attempt to write, record, and post one song per day.  I’m not sure if it’s going to work out, but I’m starting with the following guidelines:

*I won’t be re-writing any of my existing songs, but I may be using some unfinished material as a starting point.

*I’m not promising that each day’s song will be finished, but I hope I can get a verse and chorus out, at least.

*I’ll probably take the weekends in order to devote some time to a few other projects I’ve got going.

*I reserve the right to use loops, as programming my drum machine can take a lot of time.

*I can post mp3s and videos here, and I hope to use both of those formats, as long as I can figure out how to record video.

*The purpose is quantity, not quality, which is not my style.  I hope the change-up is enlightening if not life-changing.

There are a few other people trying this, including the author of this blog.
